Professor Luke Drury
Luke Drury was born in Dublin in 1953 and studied experimental physics and
pure mathematics at Trinity College Dublin graduating in 1975.
He went on to do a PhD in astrophysics at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge,
England and subsequently worked at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Kernphysik,
Heidelberg, Germany before returning to Dublin in 1986 as head of the
Astrophysics section of the School of Cosmic Physics in the Dublin Institute
for Advanced Studies. |
