Welcome to HEAnet's National Networking Conference 2002 Web Site

We are delighted to announce that HEAnet, Ireland's National Education and Research Network, is organising its second National Networking Conference for its 40 member organisations. The Conference will take place in Kilkenny on the 7th-8th of November 2002.

This year there are two primary objectives:

• to provide updates on national and international networking developments,
• to explore new service developments and share experiences

The format will be a mixture of presentations and workshop session which will give in-depth information on current Internet issues and provede a forum for member institutions and HEAnet staff to share experiences, best practices and general information.

The medieval city of Kilkenny will give us a superb setting to work hard and enjoy ourselves at the same time.
