• Current TSSG IPv6 infrastructure

• Core Network with tunnel over IPv4 to HEAnet

• Access Network includes fixed & WLAN access for machines

• Additional IPv6 internal testbeds:

• Ad hoc testbeds as required (e.g. bandwidth broker for Diffserv/Intserv)

• Flextel box deployment environment (i.e. on blades)

• Mobile IPv6 Testbed

• Current TSSG IPv6 experimentation mainly carried out on external European testbeds, especially when expensive telecommunications equipment is required: Intermon, Opium, Torrent

• The TSSG are active at a number of layers in the protocol stack, and are particularly interested in the use of IPv6 for mobile access networks (WiFi, 3G, other)

• Core Themes: QoS, Security, & Accounting (i.e. management)

• This emerging infrastructure supports higher-layer services
