HEAnet Management and staff were saddened to hear of the death of Klaus Ullmann, who passed away unexpectedly last Friday, 25 March 2011, aged 62.

Klaus was one of the founders of TERENA twenty-five years ago, and has always been a cohesive voice in the NREN community, bringing great leadership to European Research and Education Networking through his enormous work with the NREN-PC, The Exec and the Dante Board.

We would like to take this opportunity to pass on our sincere condolences to his family, friends and working colleagues at home in Germany and around the world.
