HEAnet's new Student Internet Deal with O2 offers low cost Internet access to students and staff at HEAnet client institutions.

With a range of features:

* prepay and postpay plans from €9.99 per month

* for SIM, dongle, tablet, Smartphone and other WiFi devices

* with monthly data bundles up to 10GBytes per month

* and overage at same rate as monthly cost e.g. €1 per month

By availing of this offer, students and staff will also be offered discounted Smartphones, a free O2 Money Card and exclusive educations and lifestyle treats.

HEAnet and O2 have also committed to collaboration on several projects taken from the Mobility Strategy. The first such project is the federation of the O2 Website, to promote the use of Edugate and further stimulate the adoption of federation in Ireland. Edugate, HEAnet’s federation service will facilitate online student access to the deal.
