A DRAFT programme for HEAnet National Conference 2012: "e-Infrastructure for the Future of Education & Research" is now available at: http://www.heanet.ie/conferences/2012/programme

We have put together a strong programme with a range of stimulating topics and speakers, from across the HE sector as well as industry leaders:

  • Plenary speakers include Andy Ingram – SVP at Juniper, Conal Henry – CEO of e-net, Dr Mary Keeling – Manager, Centre for Economic Analysis in IBM, and Gary Davis – Deputy Data Protection Commissioner.
  • The programme also features speakers and case studies from within our client community including IoTI, WIT, TCD, UCD, NUIM, NCI and RIA, along with other industry experts.
  • The workshop area talks and demos will cover topics such as Security Services and DNS, Mobile Applications and EduStorage (HEAnet’s Data Storage Service).
  • The ever popular Lightning Talks will also feature.
