HEAnet provide Videoconferencing services that are available to all of our customers. This service allows one to connect numerous sites in one conference over our high speed IP network.

The following tutorial gives an outline of what this service can offer and setup guide shows how to get connected to the service.

Africa connects to Europe through GÉANT and UbuntuNet

The first point-to-point research network circuit between Europe and Africa enables astronomers to create a more detailed view of the universe.

Radio astronomers in Africa and across the globe will benefit from faster collaboration through a dedicated, high speed 15,000 km network link between the pan-European GÉANT and African UbuntuNet Alliance education networks announced today.
