HEAnet provides a Point to Point Service which allows institutions to link remote sites and campuses into a single Local Area Network.
Point to Point are typically used for connecting remote sites, testbeds, research infrastructures and the links can be at capacities of up to 10Gbps, depending on the connectivity of the two end sites involved.
Point to Point Links are available nationally, between all HEIs connected by HEAnet.
Through HEAnet’s partnership with GEANT, point to point links are available internationally too, with coverage in Europe and worldwide.
