Mirza Akhi Khatun is a Ph.D. Researcher at the Centre for Research Training in Foundation of Data Science, University of Limerick, Ireland.

She earned an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Jagannath University, Bangladesh, with a focus on Internet of Things (IoT) security and Machine Learning (ML). Her ongoing research delves into healthcare IoT security, utilizing AI/ML innovations. Ms. Akhi has an exemplary academic background in computer science. Notably, she was awarded a scholarship from the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in Foundations of Data Science (2022). During her Master of Science program, she secured the first position in her class. Furthermore, she has published research papers at prominent international conferences. Her research interests span IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, Network Security, and Systems Architecture.
