Rory began working in UCC in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Working with UCC Student Health Services, Rory was part of the IT team that worked on the UniCoV study. This study helped facilitate the safe, continual return to on-campus learning and teaching for university students and staff. In partnership with Ergo, UCC developed a Power App to gather data for the study, in conjunction with Power Automate, Sharepoint and Azure.

Since the formation of the Digital Advisory Centre, Rory has specialised in Power Automate and SharePoint to advise upon and implement digitisation solutions across the university.
