The “Data as a Service” project, a sub project of the Digital Transformation initiative at Trinity College has a focus on addressing disparate data management practices and addressing our universal need for consolidated quality data.

This project is designed to develop the play book for TCD’s approach to data management in alignment with its data strategy.

A parallel, two-phase deliverable is well underway, A shared dynamics implementation, a tangible benefit to the wider university community, but under the hood the “Data as a Service” data hub which essentially is the data architecture and approach that we are backing to deliver our enterprise integration and business intelligence product families. A key component of this architecture is our alignment with the Higher Education Reference Model from UCISA.
