The HEAnet National Networking Conference is an annual event that attracts IT Service Managers, Senior Technical personnel and key academics and researchers from HEAnet's clientele of Universities and other Irish Third Level and Research Institutions.
It is a unique opportunity for you to learn about, present and discuss the latest developments in networking technology and services for the research and education community and their use by the community.
In its ninth year in 2009, the conference attracted a record number of delegates. We put the spotlight on Wireless Technology, Federated Access, Green IT, IPV6, Cloud and Data Protection. Clients shared their experiences with a number of case studies including Virtualisation at CIT and DIT and WiMax at DCU and NUIM.
Hands-on workshops proved popular again last year with extra workshops on Wednesday afternoon.
