Azure ExpressRoute

HEAnet customers can establish private connections to Microsoft Azure.

Azure ExpressRoute private connections can be provided by HEAnet from an organisation’s on-premise infrastructure to the Microsoft Azure Data Centres in Dublin and Amsterdam

HEAnet ExpressRoute circuits do not transit the public Internet instead they are provided over dedicated circuits on the HEAnet network to Microsoft Azure in Dublin and via the GÉANT network to Microsoft Azure in Amsterdam.
