Cathal has over 20 years’ experience in delivering ICT services in the public sector. He has a keen interest in Cyber Security, Project Management and Data Centre Management.

An Irish Defence Forces Veteran, Cathal has served in a variety of appointments abroad in Lebanon, Kosovo and Serbia.

In 2008 Cathal joined Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin and is currently the ICT Facilities Manager in IT Services.

Part of his role encompasses managing the team responsible for the wired and wireless networks, communication rooms and data centres and telephony services.
Cathal is a member of the Sustainable Procurement Working Group and is involved with the Green Campus Committee and other sustainability initiatives across Trinity.
