Unburdening Accessible Content Creation in Articulate Storyline 360
Universities must comply with the EU Web Accessibility Directive, ensuring students with disabilities can access websites and mobile applications. However, the Directive allows exemptions if compliance is a 'disproportionate burden.' As digital learning developers, we are supportive of accessibility but a lack of practical know-how in this area can increase the burden.
Our presentation will demonstrate how Trinity’s Digital Learning Development Team have "unburdened" the process of creating accessible Storyline 360 content by integrating accessibility into our development process, streamlining the creation of our resources and fostering a positive in-house attitude towards accessibility.
