David O'Callaghan

Director of Grid-Ireland Ops Centre, TCD

David O'Callaghan is a Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science and Statistics in Trinity College Dublin, where he is the director of the Grid-Ireland Operations Centre and leads TCD's involvement in EU FP7-funded projects including the European Grid Infrastructure and StratusLab in areas related to grid and cloud computing, and works on aspects such as operations, policy, security, virtualization, and networking. He holds a PhD on the subject of trust and security in grid computing.
