Denis Condon

SSP, Microsoft

Since joining Microsoft in 2006 Denis has held a wide variety of roles within Microsoft centred on providing Communications and Productivity solutions into education and government.

Prior to taking up his current role, Denis worked in the Telecommunications industry in both Ireland with BT / CARA as a Network integration specialist and for 9 years with AT & T in California USA as Education Technical specialist.

In these positions Denis's focus was providing solutions specifically into the education sector, centred around distance learning initiatives and large scale provision of High speed data networks. These included such projects as CENIC (Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California ) and CALREN (California Research and Education Network ).

He is a graduate of St Patrick's, NUI Maynooth, University of Northumbria and the University of California (Berkeley) in both Science and computer related fields.
