ESB Telecoms (ESBT) is Ireland’s leading independent telecoms infrastructure and bandwidth solutions provider. ESBT built and owns 1,300 kilometres of National Fibre Optic Network (NTFON). The network is constructed in a ‘figure of eight’ around Ireland and includes a spur from Carrick on Shannon to Buncrana. It comprises of 48 fibre cores and is wrapped on ESB High Voltage Network. ESBT also manages over 400 telecommunications towers and sites on which all major Irish telecommunications companies have substantial installations.

ESB Telecoms operates managed bandwidth services over its network. The fibre network has 30 points of presence (PoPs) around Ireland. The network is managed 24x7 from a Telecoms Operations Centre in ESB Head Office, Dublin.
