Dr Mary Keeling
Manager, Centre for Economic Analysis, IBM
Mary is the manager of the IBM Centre for Economic Analysis, part of the IBM Institute for Business Value and joined IBM when the Centre was founded in Dublin in 2007. Her work focuses on conducting research, developing recommendations for action and working with IBM clients globally on a wide range of economic issues relating to growth and development including ‘smarter cities’, smarter education, productivity, public sector reform, and service sector development.
Prior to IBM, Mary spent over 10 years as a lecturer in economics at the University of Limerick and before that taught at Trinity College Dublin and NUI Maynooth. She also spent time as an economist in Davy Stockbrokers. She has co-ordinated and participated in a number of research projects for public and semi state bodies, such as the European Commission and Ireland’s National Economic Development Authority & Advisory Board.
