Genevieve Dalton

Head of Teaching and Learning IT Services, UCD

Genevieve Dalton is the Head of Teaching and Learning IT Services in UCD for the last 6 years with responsibility for planning, designing, building, delivering and support technology solutions and services to support academics and students in their teaching and learning endevours. Formerly (Apr 2003 to May 2006) the Head of Technical Services in UCD's IT Services, she had responsibility for the delivery of 24*7 mission critical network and systems backend infrastructure supporting the services delivered by IT Services. Prior to working in UCD, Genevieve worked as a IT project manager for over 15 years in the banking and technology sectors involved in the implementation of high availability technology systems and services. She holds an M.Sc. in Cyberpsychology from IADT, Dun Laoghaire.
