Suzanne Redmond Maloco

Library Systems & Institutional Repository Manager, NUIM

Suzanne Redmond Maloco from National University of Ireland Maynooth is the Institutional Repository Manager and works in the Library Systems Department. Maynooth was the first university in Ireland to develop an institutional repository (ePrints.nuim.ie) and Suzanne has been a key figure in the development and marketing of the repository. She has been involved in working closely with the Computer Centre and Research Support Office to integrate the Research Information System and to advocate the profile of NUIM Research output. Suzanne is a founder member of the RIAN Steering Committee – the National Research Portal – which harvests to one portal the contents of the Institutional Repositories of the seven university libraries, in order to make Irish research material more freely accessible.
