Michael Grimes

Technology Analyst, Ericsson

Michael Grimes is a Technology Analyst working with Ericsson R&D for 12 years. In the past, he has worked at the coalface of Ericsson's Access and Core Networks. He has worked closely with many of Ericsson's large global customers in the adoption and rollout of WCDMA worldwide, supporting the global expansion and uptake of Mobile Broadband.

More recently, Michael has worked for the past 5 years in the Network Management area of Ericsson's world class Radio Networks, focussing on the successful rollout of the LTE standard across the globe.

Today, Michael has a broad remit for all technologies within Network Management working towards Ericsson's strategic direction of 50 billion connections worldwide by 2020.
